Instructional Media Lab - Academic Computing

 

Academic Computing's Instructional Media Lab provides front line support for faculty using technology in their teaching and research. Staffed by a team of graduate student consultants, the Instructional Media Lab is available to any faculty who would like to set up a one-on-one consultation on a wide range of topics including SPARK, digital video, blogs, working with digital images, creating PDFs, and the pedagogical benefits (and pitfalls!) of new tools. 

 

In addition to consultation services the Instructional Media Lab also provides access to specialized equipment and hardware for purposes such as large format or slide scanning as well as digitization of a range of video formats. 

 

Consultant from the Instructional Media Lab also contribute to Academic Computing's blog: TeachOIT.

Th Instructional Media Lab is open Monday-Friday, 10am-4pm. They can be contacted at 545-2823 or instruct@oit.umass.edu. The Instructional Media Lab is located in A212 LGRC Lowrise on the north side of campus.
