Brief Description:

Continuing and Professional Education maintains the Amherst campus part of UMassOnline, which is the system-wide online segment of the University. Faculty teaching fully online courses through Professional and Continuing Education use the implementation of Blackboard Vista hosted by UMassOnline - a consortium of the the five online University campuses.

Instructors teaching with UMassOnline and Continuing and Professional Education are supported by the e-Learning department at Continuing and Professional Education. Besides operational and technical support, the staff there can assist with extending your fully online course with emerging technologies and instructional design.
